I thought having 69 right to rule would not have made every kingdom hate me once I became king. Next time I do a run I want to have more diplomatic relations with other factions and not be at war with every kingdom once I become king. Playing like this forced me to play every difficulty setting on very easy expect battle size just to survive. However, I feel more like a warlord than a king. I took out 3 factions already so now it's getting easier. I had to fight tooth and nail at every turn. Other than that the whole game every kingdom was at war with me and not each other. Problem was I was only able to make peace once for a short time with the swadia kingdom. In this run I rebelled against the Nords to start my own kingdom with 69 right to rule. However, I'm already thinking of my next play through on how I want it to be different. I just have 3 towns I'm saving from the rhodakes or whatever they are called, and around 25 castles to get. Eat, drink and tomorrow - we ride into battle! I hope.Well I'm at the end game of being King for the first time. What would be my best option, if there is one?

So can't I marry a daughter of a king or smthn? Or just have other lords pick me as their king? I can hold of 1:40 in a castle defense, but I can't hold against ~30k soldiers. SO! I want to take over! :D As I understand, even in AD 1257 you can't become king of an existing faction? I tried starting civil war, but pretty much everyone jumped to my throat. Army of about 2k elite men, hundreds of elite cavalry. I hold the 2 major cities, 2 castles and bunch of fiefs (everything upgraded and not raided in years), I've got more renown than any other in my faction, high honor, friendly with everyone (~80%+) and 500 000 gold in my pocket. By now I have helped Curonians pretty much destroy the Teutonic order of Livonia, Samagotians and some other minor factions. I have been playing 1257 for some while now (I've played this save on/off for years).
